What we store, what we never touch, and how to leave with everything. GitHub is the only database.

commit.moi has no database. Your tasks are issues, your spaces are private repositories, and both live in your own GitHub account. We ship the frontend. You already own the backend.

Thing Where it lives
Tasks, notes, projects, areas Your private repositories
History of every change Git history in those repositories
Your identity Your GitHub account
Your access token Your browser session
Anything else Nowhere. There is no anything else.

Private repositories

To create your spaces and read and write the issues inside them.

Your profile

Name, avatar and the email on your account — for the sidebar and email capture.

Nothing else is requested, and nothing outside the spaces we created is touched. Repositories you already had are none of our business.

There is no export, because there is nothing of yours in here to export.

  1. Revoke the OAuth grant in your GitHub settings.
  2. That’s it. Your repositories, issues and history stay exactly as they are.
